I really like the produce in my local Stop and Shop. I shop for myself and my clients there. Most of their produce has a much longer shelf life than my other local purveyors. They also have great cremini mushrooms- they call them Baby Bella, and great shitaki as well (I know-they aren't Italian)
Italian Grandmother Dictum: Always use the best produce available.
